1.4.10 focuses on tons of usability improvement!
Enhancements
HDR 10-bit support is now available for Pro users.
Video and batched images can now resume from the exact frame without losing progress. (This does not apply when enabling the temporal smoothing option.)
The Precision model now uses higher resolution depth and produces more stable 3D output with fewer artifacts.
Images now process faster. Each processed image will be available right away in the destination folder; there's no need to wait for the whole batch to finish.
An option has been added to preserve the content aspect ratio when processing 3D, preventing the content from being stretched.
In the case of conversion errors, the program will automatically retry a few times before reporting errors. When processing images, any missing images will be skipped, and the remaining images will continue to be processed.
An option to optimize file size for videos has been added.
Support for .mkv output has been included.
JPEG and WEBP image output formats have been added.
Image input support for JPEG2000, EXR, and TIFF formats is now available.
.mov ProRes now supports Opus audio by converting it to AAC.
Proper offline support has been implemented - the app can be used offline for up to 14 days.
Change
Implemented passwordless login and Google/Apple login. Log-in is now required to use Owl3D.
What's Next
For version 1.4.11, we plan to improve speed and enhance the estimation of processing time. If time permits, we will also work on a smart configuration feature that will allow Owl3D to determine the best 3D settings for each frame.
